To understand the most endangered historic structures of Nasik, it was important to identify the built heritage typography. The historic structures were built in 1400 A.d to 1900 s. Architectural style varied as per the usage and the era that it was built in.
The Cultural landscape of the World heritage listed Darjeeling Himalayan Ranges has various vernacular structures and monuments built along the hill ranges by different community groups. I did a study of the Intangible heritage of the cultural landscape of DHR.
As a part of the event theme and decoration for the Columbus Ganesh Utsav Mandal, Inc. designed and created the scene of horse chariots with the deity seating at the center.
Sidheegram, DCOOP, 2007 Sitting at the entrance of a cement manufacturing plant, this building houses six mammoth diesel generators. The success of this project lies in the understanding of the practical & openended systems of industrial construction and a creative intervention that makes the building more humane – aesthetically and functionally. At the same time the form celebrates the sensorial aspect of the industrial.
